Mamiya telah mengumumkan harga dan ketersediaan DM40 baru format media digital kamera dan belakang nama yang sama. Harga $ 21.990 untuk kamera dan lensa 80mm f/2.8 lensa seri D, dan $ 19.990 untuk digital kembali, mereka akan mulai dikapalkan dari bulan ini dan seterusnya.
